Il client eDonkey non esiste più, ma a questo software faceva riferimento solo il 10% della community. La routine quotidiana di file-sharing passa ora interamente sulle spalle (schiena?) di eMule, ultimo grande faro di questo protocollo P2P. (fonte: Tweakness)

Intanto il rilascio di una nuova release di eMule e` imminente; e` stata gia` implementata una valida funzione di offuscaggio dei dati trasmessi sulla 0.47b per eludere restrizioni di traffic shaping adottate da alcuni provider (vedi Libero).
